A stunning 36-bedroom country house hotel with a boutique interior, set in the most idyllic countryside. The Cottage in the Wood was heavily reliant on OTA bookings to fill their occupancy when our work started together in 2017. Through a combination of SEO, email database nurturing and conversion rate optimisation techniques, the booking channel mix was completely flipped on its head with ‘direct’ being the most dominant revenue channel representing 79% of their bookings.
